The Prince searches for his donkey, Farah, who carries treasures. Therefore, he falls into a canyon and meets Elika because of her magical powers. They race to the Tree of Life’s temple. Elika’s father releases Ahriman, the God of Darkness, from prison. Ahriman once battled the God of Light but was trapped in the Tree of Life. When he is free, Ahriman will seek revenge. To reduce the dangers to the world, the Prince and Elika must stop him. The gameplay involves sword fighting, climbing, and puzzles. In particular, Elika aids the Prince in battles and platforming to collect Seeds of Life and grow stronger. Enemies are tougher and smarter than before. The Prince uses his sword and gauntlet for combat and traversal. The game features Quick Time Events and a stylized cel-shaded look.
