The game event starts when Clank has vanished. For some reason, the Zoni took Ratchet’s partner and made him go searching. Ratchet ends up in a village after a ship battle and faces many foes. Through the journey, the protagonist finds many clues related to the treasure and the Zoni. The new version possesses more puzzles and platforming with the Omniwrench. This thing can have a tethering ability, while Rachet uses Heliogrubs to go through dark areas. The gameplay still remains when Ratchet must overcome obstacles and enemies to rescue his friend.
