Being a street gang, the Saints became a media empire, and an international crime group named the Syndicate tried to negotiate with them. However, the conflicts happened with a gunfight where the gang leader and Shaundi escaped. Gat was left behind, so the Saints moved to Steelport for revenge. At this time, the city was controlled by three gangs that worked for the Syndicate. The opposing faction decides to fight them to take control. For gameplay, this is an action game where players can shoot and drive to explore the city freely. They can do main missions and side tasks to receive the rewards. When having enough resources, players can upgrade weapons and cars. They can also customize their gang. The game has an online feature. Players can share their characters or buy properties to become the richest man in the city.
