The kingdom falls into chaos when the king dies without an heir, so the dead rise and people flee. The three characters’ fates intertwine. At the same time, Pontius, a knight, stays to defend the academy. With destiny, all three touch the object and become bound. The wizard recognizes it as The Trine that connects souls magically. Therefore, to exit the bondage, they must find a way to break the connection. The group of three peoples explores the kingdom and seeks the Guardian. Trine is a physics-based game with three characters. Players can switch between them or play together, depending on the situation. The game uses 2D sidescrolling with depth. Each character has unique abilities and must cooperate to solve puzzles to progress in the environment with movable objects.
