A narrative of one man’s ascension to the top of the criminal heap emerges from the decade of big hair, decadence, and pastel suits. Vice City, a massive metropolitan sprawl stretching from the beach to the swamps and from the glam to the slums, was one of the most diverse, full, and living digital cities ever built. Combining open-world gameplay with a character-driven story, you arrive in a town full of joys and degradation and are given the option to take it over as you see fit.
Tommy Vercetti, who has recently returned to the streets of Liberty City after a lengthy stint in maximum prison, is sent to Vice City by his former employer, Sonny Forelli. They were naturally concerned about his reappearance in Liberty City, so a journey south sounded like a smart option. But things do not go as planned when he arrives in the glitzy, hedonistic city of Vice City. He’s been duped and now has no money and no products. Sonny wants his money back, but he’s up against motorcycle gangs, Cuban thugs, and crooked politicians. The majority of Vice City seems to want Tommy dead. His only option is to fight back and seize control of the city himself.
