Flash Motor Karen is divided into puzzle mode and story mode. Puzzle mode is for puzzle levels only. In story mode if you clear one area more than 5 stages, a new story will be added to the story mode. The story mode is the flow of ADV → puzzle → ADV → …. When one story is over, a new area is added to the puzzle mode. The game progresses by alternately clearing the two modes.
