Kingdom of Paradise

Kingdom of Paradise is a third-person action role-playing game in a martial arts-focused setting inspired by Asian culture.

The story of Shinbu, a swordsman who was formerly Seiryu’s apprentice, is told through the gameplay of this video game. However, he was ordered to leave after learning techniques that were not allowed in battle. Shinbu soon discovers that he is engaged in a plan that goes far deeper than he ever anticipated it would when he is traveling across the world of Ouka and its four zones, each of which is named after one of the famous gods from Chinese mythology. The combat system in the Kingdom of Paradise is inspired more by traditional fighting games than by classic role-playing games, even though RPG components still play a role. As the game advances, Shinbu will acquire a variety of scrolls and tiles. Players can then position the titles on the scrolls in specific sequences to grant Shinbu access to more powerful strikes. Shinbu also learns sword skills and chi powers, which are attacks based on the elements that can defeat many foes simultaneously.
