MediEvil: Resurrection is an improved and changed version of the original MediEvil. While the basic plot remains unchanged, the design of various characters and settings has been altered to offer a somewhat more comedic edge. A few areas have been deleted, while the layout of several others has been considerably changed. This version includes a few plot-related elements not included in the initial release, such as a sub-plot regarding the Anubis Stone. There is now voice acting. Unlike the original, this version has no option ending: the protagonist reaches the Hall of Heroes even if the player does not gather all the chalices.
