In the latest iteration of their NHL Hockey franchise, which was released in 2007, EA Sports updated all of the rosters and schedules of the existing NHL clubs. They added the Czech Elite League teams to the chronicles of the European Elite League teams.
The modeling of the players has been updated, and they now have new, more lifelike maneuvers and styles that are unique to them. Additional improvements have been made to the analog stick controls, making it easier than ever to handle the players while maintaining the game’s authenticity as close as possible to the actual thing.
GM Mode, single-game and season play, Dynasty mode, and online play are other features from prior editions.
Support for the Skill Stick controller, which allows for more precise player control, is now included in the version available for the Xbox 360.
