Sakura Taisen 1 & 2

It can be said that Sakura Taisen 1 & 2 is a multi-genre game combining tactical role-playing, dating, and fighting altogether. The plot is set in the Taishou period about an organisation under the guise of a troupe specialising in preventing the supernatural threats that plague Tokyo. In this game, the player controls Ichiro Ogami and the All-Ladies Flower Team of the Revue Imperial Combat Revue. There are two main game modes: battle mode and adventure mode. In the first one, with a timeline divided between periods, the characters will have to interact with one another, and the battle system is turn-based on the battlefield. Especially in battle mode, Ogami characters will be faced with important choices that affect the plot of the story that occurs next. As for the adventure mode, here, players will face the demons called Koubu, and each side will attack in turn (each turn is allowed to have 2 actions). These actions include “Move”, “Deathblow” (critical strike that can destroy normal enemies in one attack), “Attack”, and “Protection”. Each team will also specialise in a skill such as a melee or long-range attack, support action as well as the corresponding weapons and the ability to move in space.
