The Superbike World Championship has endorsed SBK-08 as the official videogame of the event.
It has various game modes, each of which may be selected from one of five different pre-sets. These game modes range from fundamental gameplay designed for beginning players to a fully featured simulation intended for people searching for the challenge of riding a Superbike.
The game allows the player to select from the 2008 official riders, teams, and tracks. In addition, the player can enhance the performance of his bike by managing and modifying various parameters, such as top speed, gear ratios, suspension stiffness, and a set of tires for each race.
