The real-time strategy game Tom Clancy’s EndWar was made by Ubisoft Entertainment Studios and marketed with Tom Clancy’s name. Michael de Plater, who made the Total War series, was in charge of the whole game development process.

The story occurs in 2020, when the USA, Europe, and Russia are at war. The war started when terrorists attacked the American space station Freedom Star. Still, the real reason is the military rift between the East and the West caused by the USA’s heavy development of ballistic missile defense, which made nuclear warheads less effective. Also, the growing competition between the US and Europe to militarize space, and the fact that Russia has the most important natural resources, like oil, were significant.

Before you start the game, you get to choose which side of the world war you want to be on. There are two parts to the game. In the first, you give orders on a tactical map that shows changes in power worldwide, like in the board game Risk. Here, you can move your army around, keep an eye on the fronts, etc. Real-time battles are another part of the game. You can be in charge of infantry, tanks, helicopters, and artillery. Satellite relays play an essential role, and the people who control them have many options. Battles happen both in the countryside and big cities, like Paris, with famous landmarks like the Eiffel Tower. This means you must change your strInfantrypending on where the battle occurs.

Even though battles against AI are fun, the best part is playing with other people. A large-scale campaign is like a metagame that is always going on, and you can help your chosen faction at any time. It’s important to note that the game works with voice commands (these are short and easy to remember).
