The original PSP game, World Tour Soccer, has been followed up by the sequel, World Tour Soccer 2. You can enter a team from the leagues of various countries in their domestic leagues and tournaments or international teams in the world cup and their separate continental cups. Gameplay is based on its predecessor; you can play as domestic or foreign teams. In addition, the player can compete against these teams in several point-based minigames that award points for better gameplay. Players also have the option to play multiplayer games either locally on their PSPs using ad-hoc support or over the internet using infrastructure support. Local competitions can accommodate up to eight players, and players can compete against other players in a one-on-one match or by forming alliances with up to three other players to take on teams of four.
