a World Rally Championship game licensed by the FIA includes the teams, drivers, cars, and stages from the 2005 season. The player steers the vehicle around the course and competes against the clock to complete each step as quickly as possible. The rivals are depicted as ghost vehicles since the rally is driven, so the track is clean of other cars. Notes from the co-drivers are provided verbally and displayed on the screen to assist the player in navigating the frequently winding stages.

The game has various gameplay modes, including Quick Rally, Time Trial, Single Rally, Championship, and Multiplayer. The Quick Rally mode allows you to race a car and rally stage randomly. In the Time Trial mode, a ghost car will be displayed on the track, and the player’s objective is to finish the scene faster than the ghost car did. The Single Rally game option aims for the player to accomplish all stages in a single rally while using a team and car of their choosing. Other drivers are represented as ghost cars in the video.

The Single Rally mode is expanded into an entire season consisting of 16 rallies when you switch to Championship mode. Each healing comprises two to four stages, and for a player to proceed to the subsequent stage, they need to reach a specified position. The required finishing position and the number of steps that make up a rally are determined by the difficulty level, ranging from novice to professional, expert, and extreme. The expert and severe levels are accessible only after the player has completed the story that came before it. After each rally, points are given out to the top 8 drivers, and at the end of the season, the driver who finishes with the most points wins the championship. When you complete a championship level, you unlock additional car types and new rally courses that can be used in other play modes.

Both offline play (sometimes known as “hot seat”) and online play are included in the multiplayer modes. The hot-seat rallies can accommodate a maximum of four players and offer competition in three game modes: time trial, single demonstration, and championship. You and up to seven other players can go head-to-head on a single track with online wireless play. Similar to the other game options, the opponents are represented by ghost vehicles.

The game offers a control mechanism reminiscent of arcades (no manual gear changes, for example) and a straightforward approach to doing damage. The amount of damage done to the car affectsarance, and at the expert and extreme levels, the amount of damage also has an efaffectss performance. Downloadable material, like player avatars that are unique to them, is supported by PSP WRC.
