Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation is an action game developed by Core Design for PlayStation in 1999. This game revolves around a character named Lara Croft. At the age of 16, Lara Croft, along with his companion, Werner Von Croy, discovered ancient ruins at Angkor Wat. Their purpose was to search for an artifact called Iris. During the search, the two of them found it. However, Lara Croft saw ancient writing written on the stone containing Iris. The text is simply meant to be a warning about terrible punishment if anyone tries to steal. Ignoring Lara Croft’s warning, Werner Von Croy took the ancient object, Iris. The ground started shaking and the cave’s door was starting to close. Lara Croft escaped in time and left Werner Von Croy inside the cave.
Eleven years later, Lara Croft sought the help of a local to search for an Amulet of Horus charm inside an ancient tomb called Seth. After finding the talisman, she removed it from the sarcophagus. Lara Croft has discovered that it is a key to permanently seal the evil god Seth. Unexpectedly, Werner Von Croy is still alive and he also wants this charm. He sent someone to follow Lara Croft and snatched it from her hand as soon as he found this charm. Lara Croft was quick to escape the pursuit by the Werner Von Croy’s minions. Werner Von Croy’s goal is to steal the talisman and completely free the evil god Seth. Lara Croft’s mission will be to protect the talisman and not let it fall into the hands of the wicked.
In the game, players will play the character Lara Croft to help her complete her mission. At the end of each stage, there will be a final boss that the player needs to defeat. Each stage is broken down into multiple levels with increasing difficulty. Unlike previous versions, the game has many changes in the way the character moves. Characters can use the vines on the way to move through large spaces. She can also move up or down while clinging to a liana. This game also has a very unique new point. Players can pair items picked up with weapons to create a new weapon with greater power. Players can also move back and forth levels to defeat weaker enemies in order to find items to upgrade weapons more easily.
