BS F-Zero Deluxe is a complete restoration romhack/mod developped by Catador, Guy Perfect, Porthor and Power Panda and is the very first one which add ALL the long-lost official content of the Sattelaview extensions (the Japanese Super Famicom add-on) in the F-Zero base game. (The other mods/hacks released so far only restore part of it.)
The basic content of the game is thus increased to 8 playable vehicles and 25 courses.
This is therefore the complete and definitive version of the first F-Zero game.
So, this mod adds :
– 4 new vehicles : Blue Thunder, Luna Bomber, Green Amazone and Fire Scorpion
– The BS-1 League (coming from the first extension “BS F-Zero Grand Prix week 1”) containing the courses : Forest I, Big Blue II, Sand Storm I, Forest II et Silence II
– The BS-2 League (coming from the second extension “BS F-Zero Grand Prix week 2”) containing the courses : Mute City IV, Forest III, Sand Storm II, Metal Fort I et Metal Fort II
Credits :
Data recovery is based on video recordings by YouTube user kukun kun, who was apparently present for the original Satellaview broadcasts, recorded them, then uploaded those recordings to the internet. This project would not have been possible without their footage, and it’s likely the data may have otherwise been lost for good.
