Legend of the Axem Rangers is a hack of “Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars”.
Red, the main character, comes home to find that his sister, Rose, is away. Realizing that Rose is not the kind of person to leave her home without at least leaving a note, Rouge suspects the worst. Rouge decides to pay a visit to a certain Bowser living in the castle, the King of the Koopa, who is known to be particularly fond of kidnapping damsels in pink.
