“Family Party: 30 Great Games Obstacle Arcade” is a party game developed by Art Co., Ltd and published by D3 Publisher for the Wii U. First released in November 2012, the game brought players into a world full of fun with many interesting challenges as well as entertainment with friends. The game includes two available minigame modes: Challenge Mode and Freeplay Mode. In Challenge Mode, each player will have to compete with each other in the five Wii Remote game sets based on the world chosen at the start, with five randomly selected Wii U games in the middle. Up to four people (with CPU to ensure there are always four players) can play at the same time to try to beat a set number of points and unlock additional characters and minigames to play in Freeplay Mode. In Freeplay Mode, players can select up to 10 minigames, regardless of whether they use Wii U Gamepad or Wii Remote, to play in the order set with up to four people (with CPU to keep the number of players at four , if necessary) there are no restrictions or scores to beat. The game has a total of 35 different minigames and they are spread throughout five different worlds, with each world having five Wii Remote games and two using Wii U Gamepad.
