OpenLara

OpenLara is a remastering project of old Tomb Raider made by a fan, XProger. The goal is to include new modern technologies present in current game engines. It’s a graphical update while keeping the original visual identity and core gameplay. The whole game, as well as the enemies, but also the gameplay have been completely rewritten so that the whole thing works.

At present the project adds to the original renderings the following (non-exhaustive) elements:
– Advanced management of shadows and lights
– Dynamic water
– Different smoothing shaders
– Lara can aim at two targets at the same time
– 60fps support (fluidity)
– Support for HD resolutions (16:9 1920*1080)
– FPS mode (first person)
– Possibility to play with two players in split screen
