Story
In this game, you play as the protagonist May or Brendan, the Hoenn Champion and Norman’s child, after the events of Pokémon RSE and FRLG.
A world-shattering event causes the Pokémon to disappear, and in their place come the Emblems, fighters from another world.
As the foundation of the world of Pokémon collapses, Emperor Lance launches a surprise attack on the Hoenn Region, and captures Lord Norman, your father.
Now, it is up to you to protect your people, save your father, and try to stop the Kanto Empire and their associates hiding in the shadows.
