After purchasing the popular Bond franchise rights, Activision developed 007: Blood Stone, the company’s second Bond game. It is not adapted from any James Bond books or films, so it has a unique narrative. It is the first Bond movie to do so since “007: Everything or Nothing,” which was released in 2005.
The action takes place in a third-person shooter, but there are also some hand-to-hand combat sequences. In addition, there are a few sequences that take place while driving. The “Mark and Execute” feature from Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Conviction is somewhat comparable to the “Focus Aim” system featured in this game. This system enables players to lock onto targets after performing melee takedowns and kill them.
There is also a multiplayer mode that allows for up to 16 players and pits spies against mercenaries. This mode can be played online. Massive objective-based fights, team deathmatch, and other standard game types are available. In these battles, players must cooperate with their teammates to attack or defend various spy-themed goals. Throughout the game, the player will take control of several different kinds of vehicles.
