Apache Air Assault is a flight simulator for helicopters. In three different situations, the player takes control of an AH-64 combat helicopter and completes various missions. Eastern Europe, Africa, and South America are among the locations. Each scenario includes a unique plot that revolves around the pilot and gunner of each battleship.
Campaign missions for the player mainly consist of seeking and destroying objectives, with the occasional air support deployment to cover allied vehicles and ground soldiers. The weapon load-out varies for every helicopter, although it often contains guided hellfire missiles, hydra rockets, anti-air missiles, and a machine gun turret. An AI gunner can manually command the turret during flight or switch to a black-and-white gun camera with an infrared view for better ground troop spotting. Countermeasures against incoming missiles are ready and immediately deployed. Completing specific mission objectives or trying more significant difficulties will unlock many decals. Each helicopter skin in the hangar can have four of these decals attached to it.
Participants can fly the Mil Mi-24 Hind and mini helicopter drones in multiplayer modes. Several mission objectives are available, including races with aerial checkpoints and collective goals in which one player controls a drone and marks targets. In contrast, the other player flies the Apache and destroys the indicated things.
