As you attempt to sneak into an underground laboratory, take your heavily armored tank into the enemy-controlled zone. Fight your way through waves of enemies, both mechanical and human, and if the going becomes too harsh, join forces with a friend. You don’t have to be in your tank to access those hidden locations; you can hop out whenever you need to get into a tight spot.
Assault Heroes is a shooter played from the top down with auto-scrolling, much like Commando. On the other hand, instead of simply confronting enemies on foot, you have access to a fully-equipped tank that comes equipped with a variety of weaponry, such as nukes, guns, flamethrowers, shotguns, and more – and don’t forget that all of your weapons can be upgraded to a higher level! If your tank sustains excessive damage, it will blow up, forcing you to continue the battle on foot while you wait for it to respawn. In addition, some areas can only be reached on foot, and some underground bases need to be taken over. These are significantly more robust because an ordinary soldier is more likely to perish than an armored tank.
