The players of Bakugan Battle Brawlers: Defenders of the Core will have the opportunity to build a new hero and take charge of the brawlers as they embark on an epic journey to defend the cities of Earth from Spectra and his Vexos henchmen. When the players face off against one another, the Bakugan will morph from small balls into towering creatures, and the players will be given complete control over their animals. This will allow the players to discover a new facet of the Bakugan game. The players will find themselves in the middle of heated confrontations exploring hazardous and dark locations to halt the evil spirits draining the world of its vital power. On their mission to prevent the end of the world as we know it, players will gain access to brand-new gameplay areas and characters as they discover previously concealed clues and triumph over challenging foes. Bakugan Battle Brawlers: Defenders of the Core also includes split-screen multiplayer action in three distinct game modes for the game’s console versions, as well as connected multiplayer for the Nintendo DS and the PlayStation Portable. This will be the first time players can use their Bakugan in head-to-head duels, free-for-all battles, and strategic demolition conflicts, all of which will be made possible by including a real-time fighting gameplay component.
