The missions in Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII were inspired by actual WWII events and included real aircraft.
The sequel now focuses on the story of an elite pilot in a secret team with access to weapon and aircraft designs that were never used in the conflict and were just in the prototyping stage. The group uses these machines to travel to exotic areas to prevent the adversary from developing the ultimate weapon.
The gameplay remains the same. You can engage in dogfights, bomb targets, or fly stunts while giving your squad mates entire orders ranging from assault my target to special commands that repair your aircraft.
There are three multiplayer modes: “Deathmatch,” “Co-op,” and “Squad-based.” In addition to the original game’s methods, two new game types, “Capture the Flag” and “Epic Battle,” have been added. “Epic Battle” pits two teams against one other for possession of a map. Several bases and constructions can be taken or destroyed to weaken the adversary and gain an advantage.
