Blitz: The League II is a sequel to Blitz: The League, in which the player enters a fantasy football league where sex, violence, and drugs are commonplace. This version retains the same features as its predecessor, such as Exhibition, where players can go one-on-one against the CPU or a friend if they prefer, and Campaign, in which the player takes control of a coach assigned to a struggling team and brings them up to prominence and League champions by training players through either legal or illegal means and viewing a constantly changing storyline of their star athletes’ lives.

The Clash Mode is back, and it is built up by striking opponents with filthy and late strikes, allowing you to launch a tremendous tackle that can alter the course of a game at any time. Injuries are still present, with upgraded and realistic graphics depicting fractured bones and ripping tissue via X-rays of the players’ bodies at the time of impact.

One new feature is the ability to pinpoint the part of an enemy player’s body they intend to hit; the larger the area, the more likely they will hit. However, the trimmer will require the player to utilize precision timing, resulting in more terrible harm.

There are also online features, where players may join via their service and engage in fast versus matches against friends, as well as an online campaign mode and downloadable content. NFL Legend Lawrence Taylor returns as Quentin Sands, the destructive linebacker for the New York Nightmares, along with many other retired NFL legends who lend their voices to the experience. Comedians Jay Mohr and Frank Caliendo (well known for their impressions of John Madden) also offer their agents.
