The Illusionary Castle. This version of the game, initially released for Genesis, is a remake of the game with the same name. While Mickey and Minnie enjoy a picnic together, the witch Mizrabel abducts Minnie and takes her away. To save her, Mickey will have to make his way across five different realms.
In this side-scrolling platformer, Mickey must avoid opponents and leap over obstacles to stay alive. The game moves in a horizontal direction. The vast majority of the game is played from the standard first-person perspective, although the perspective shifts to third-person for some parts, such as the boss fights and certain puzzles. Mickey can defeat foes using projects he has picked up along the journey. The levels are rudimentarily modeled on the previous ones, although they have different new level design variances, unique setpieces, and improved boss fights. In addition to completing the game, players can search the levels for hidden items to uncover extra costumes or compete against the clock while playing through the ranks.
