A third world war breaks out due to a different conclusion to the cold war in one possible alternative future. New walking tanks codenamed “Hounds” are developed due to the ongoing war mentality that dominates the world. There is a new kind of conflict involving three nations, each attempting to preserve its sovereignty. The game puts you in charge of one of six role-type hounds—a Soldier, Sniper, Defender, Scout, Heavy Gunner, or Tactics Commander—and allows you to switch between them at will. Participate in quests that require you to use each of the different role types and earn rewards that can be used to build your hounds. The next step is to take the conflict online, where you may form your teams and participate in an ongoing online campaign to choose which of the three nations will emerge victorious.
