In Eets: Chowdown, you guide the titular monster Eets through over 100 levels to collect puzzle pieces with gameplay inspired by Lemmings and The Incredible Machine. You do not have direct control over Eets; instead, you employ several things to modify his course. These things include whales that spew Eets up to another platform and mood-altering buds that determine whether he will make a significant jump, a small hop, or avoid edges entirely.
Each level is separated into two stages: construction and action. The story remains frozen during creation, but you can arrange stuff wherever you see fit. Eets appears at the action stage and begins his journey to the end. Certain items along his journey can be activated with button presses, while others remain dormant until Eets comes across them. If Eets claims the puzzle piece, you’ll be rated based on time and item-related characteristics like how many you utilized.
Marsho Madness, the other section of Eets: Chowdown, places Eets’ head in the middle of a swarm of creatures. You repel them by pressing the button combinations located above their heads. You lose a life if they reach the center.
The Xbox 360 version of Eets: Hunger updates the original game. It isn’t enjoyable. It features 120 additional levels, the Marsho Madness action game, and three new items. It lacks the level editor and replay function.
