There are 12 official German stadiums, all teams that qualified to compete in the World Cup in Germany in 2006, and more groups and classic players that may be unlocked. The playable modes allow you to participate in any qualifying stages or to go straight to the world cup mode while assuming the role of one of the qualified teams.
