In the video game FLOCK!, the player takes control of an extraterrestrial craft known as “The Flocker” and is tasked with herding various farm animals, including sheep, cows, chickens, and pigs, back to the “Mother Flocker” mothership. This is difficult because the animals live in dangerous environments; the players must protect their flock from ravenous predators, steer clear of death pits, and launch their creatures into the air with catapults. The single-player campaign will challenge the player to complete at least fifty stages throughout three seasons (summer, autumn, and winter).
A mode also allows players to collaborate in a team setting. For instance, one player may pull down a fence while the other player leads a herd of animals through the opening created by the wall. Players will also have access to the same map editor the designers used to create the official levels, allowing them to create their own challenges to solve within the game. Using a permanent map server, players will be able to exchange maps with one another.
