Golf: Tee It Up! is a simulation of golf that takes a more casual approach to the sport. It has characters who can be customized analogous to the Xbox avatars, powered strokes, and the ability to apply aftertouch to the ball while it is in the air. While you are competing, you have access to a variety of clubs, and you are also able to navigate the course. In addition to that, one must take into consideration the wind. To hit, you must first click a button, which will then set in motion an indication that will move along a meter and begin the swing. If you press it again, the power will be locked, and the degree to which it is closed will depend on how far to the right the cursor is. After that, it circles back around till it hits a colored section, going from red to green; touching it there a third time establishes the level of accuracy. By pressing B, it is also possible to increase the maximum distance.
On the right side of the screen is a meter that fills up based on how well you play the various holes. When using that meter, a maximum of twelve seconds of attention can be applied simultaneously. This is referred to as aftertouch, and it is the game phase in which the player can still guide the ball’s path and make it go closer to the hole. You can get a glimpse of the putt you’re about to make by employing focus while you putt. In the single-player mode, you compete in a round of golf overall nineteen holes. There is support for multiplayer both locally and online for a maximum of four players, who will compete in teams of two.
