Halo Wars

Halo Wars is a Halo trilogy prequel set 21 years before the events of Halo: Combat Evolved. In this Halo-inspired real-time strategy game, the player commands UNSC troops from the spacecraft “Spirit of Fire” as they combat the Covenant on the half-destroyed human colony planet Harvest.

Most of the known Halo units are there – on the UNSC side, anything from marines to the near-legendary SPARTAN-II super-soldiers, Warthogs to Scorpion tanks may be found. The Covenant’s ranks are well-represented, from humble Grunts to the most feared Elites, Brutes, and even Prophets, with all vehicles ranging from Banshees to Wraiths and Scarabs.

The game includes a single-player campaign and the option to play cooperatively through the campaign. The player-versus-player Skirmish mode, which supports up to 6 players, also allows them to side with the Covenant.
