Infinite Undiscovery is an RPG set in a mystical world where an evil army, the Order of the Chains, led by the Dreadknight, has captured the life-giving moon by enslaving it with massive chains. The moon has become corrupted due to these chains, with its powers unleashing terrible and monstrous monsters on the world while crops and life begin to wither and die.
The player assumes control of Capell, a young boy kidnapped by the Order and imprisoned in their dark dungeon. After a few days, a young female fighter named Aya frees him and brings him to the head of her warrior group, Sigmund, who resembles Capell. They get together to release the moon and restore Order to their realm.
The gameplay is RPG-based, but it includes real-time battles, where players can choose which attacks or defenses to use before attacks and adjust their companions’ skills to tailor them to their taste, with 17 distinct characters joining the player’s party. Environments alter based on how the player acts and reacts to scenarios during the game, as well as exploring regions to strategize against enemy forces and construct traps for them.
