This is the sequel to Juiced, and it improves upon the first game in several ways. It provides the player with a more in-depth look at the vehicle tuning and drifting culture, immersing them in the actual music played at events and providing them with female models to display next to the cars.
Players can also compete in a variety of different types of races, such as drifting, in which they earn points and nitrous refills based on the length of time they keep their car drifting sideways around a corner; playing for pinks, in which cars are put on the line, and the winner gets to keep the loser’s car; and the tried-and-true method of simply racing to the finish line. A career option is also available, in which the player progresses through closed-in courses. This mode is distinct from the original, which had the player avoid traffic, whereas this version has a more structured feel.
They have their choice of genuine Exotics, European, Old Muscle, and New Muscle cars, as well as hundreds of actual racing parts, allowing them the flexibility to modify their vehicles in thousands of different ways, right down to the ability to personalize the labels and emblems on their cars.
They also can employ fire crews to work on the cars, and they can compete against real-life drivers and the teams they portray in the game. The sport of horse racing is played in various locations around the globe, including England, San Francisco, Australia, and even the illustrious Coliseum in Rome.
Each version is identical, except for the graphics, which vary according to the capabilities of each system, and the track layout, which is a little bit different in the version for Xbox 360. The Paris tune is not included in the PSP version.
