You are Rico Rodriguez, a CIA spy dispatched to the little island of San Esperito to spark a revolution and overthrow General Salvador Mendoza’s authority.
After jumping out of the plane and assisting your local contact in surviving a gang attack, you can do whatever you want, similar to GTA: San Andreas. The entire island is accessible from the start, and you can either pursue the main storyline, engage in side tasks, or collect things scattered throughout. You can also support the revolution by driving the government out of the island’s separate sections. This is performed through a three-stage battle in which you must face off against a massive army of government forces.
Rico, as a fully trained agent, can also do various tricks. He always has a parachute, which he can deploy whenever he has enough speed. As a result, he frequently uses vehicles or bikes as a launch pad before sailing into the sunset.
But, of course, that would not suffice to impress the terrible regime, so he also has access to a diverse arsenal of weapons ranging from pistols with endless ammo to rocket launchers and machine guns. Rico has also been educated to drive anything with an engine, from a simple motorcycle to a fully armed military helicopter.
