The second installment of the LEGO Harry Potter series is LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7. The game is based on the final three Harry Potter books and four films: Order of the Phoenix, Half-Blood Prince, Deathly Hallows – Part 1, and Part 2. Your adventure to defeat the wicked Lord Voldemort has officially begun, with 24 plot events and many new places, such as Godric’s Hollow and the Ministry of Magic.
Years 5-7’s gameplay is nearly identical to the previous game, LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4. It revolves around the player manipulating various characters from the Harry Potter universe to solve puzzles and progress through the game. As in many previous LEGO games, collectibles are dispersed worldwide. There are over 80 characters to find and collect, numerous students in danger, gold bricks, and much more. The spell wheel allows the player to access new charms and spells. Dueling skills can also be mastered through the 16 class lessons available.
An offline drop-in/drop-out co-op feature is available for multiplayer. Up to two players can play simultaneously, each using a different character to solve puzzles and locate gold bricks.
