Lumines Live!

Lumines: Puzzle Fusion was a popular launch release for the PlayStation Portable (PSP), and the Xbox Live Arcade version of the game is called Lumines Live! The competition aims to place 2×2 squares of colored tiles into a more comprehensive bin while shifting and aligning them. The panels will highlight whenever you build a square or rectangle of the same color, at least 2 squares by 2 yards in size. A constantly sweeping line that moves from left to right across the game area will remove any highlighted panels as it moves across the screen. If you reach the top of the bin and attempt to lay another square on top of it, the game will end immediately, and you will not receive any bonuses for having cleared several panels in a single sweep.

During gameplay, the music will respond to your actions, such as rotating squares, dropping squares, clearing tiles, and other possible activities. This creates the impression of a seamless combination of the game’s soundtrack and gameplay. Lumines Live! It contains a variety of gameplay modes, some of which are carried over from the original Lumines and some of which are all new. Standard methods include: Playing an endless game in Challenge Mode to gain new skins and unlock additional content as you advance.

• Play a quick or unlimited game in Skin Edit Mode, during which you can select one (or more) of the most favored skins you have already obtained through Challenge Mode.
• In VS CPU Mode, you compete against the game’s artificial intelligence to see who can conquer most of the play area.
• In Time Attack Mode, you aim to remove the most tiles in the allotted time.
• In Puzzle Mode, you will be given a set of tiles and asked to create specific shapes from those tiles.

Mission Mode is a brand-new addition to Lumines Live! Game. This mode is quite similar to Tetris Attack’s Puzzle Mode in that you have a limited amount of time to remove all of the tiles from the board by using the available squares. The “VS Mode” also allows players to compete against a buddy, either locally or online, through Xbox Live. You may purchase additional game skins and levels for the game through the Xbox Live Marketplace. You can also purchase other Mission, VS CPU, and Puzzle modes stages.
