MagnaCarta 2 is a role-playing game that combines real-time exploring aspects with turn-based combat. Juto is the main character in the game. He appears average but has amnesia and harbors a deep power within him. His friend Melissa and the islanders are slain when Northern Forces swoop down on the Highwind island where he lives. Juto vows vengeance and teams up with the Southern Forces’ Counter Sentinel Unit to track down the individual guilty of Melissa’s death.
Combat sequences are begun in real time and rely on a stamina and combo mechanism. The player can generate combos and switch characters to link together more significant, potent hits. A stamina meter fills up throughout attacks. Stamina is a base statistic that permits specific episodes before the character overheats.
