Finally, peace in the far future… but hold on a second! Dr. Light may be responsible for the rampaging robots wreaking havoc throughout the city. Dr. Wily is adamant that he is not oresponsible for the situation, and he requests donations to be made to an account he has in a Swiss bank so that he can create his robots to combat Dr. Light’s robots and save the planet. Mega Man is suspicious that something fishy is going on, so he decides to take matters into his own hands and end these new eight robots to clear his creator’s name!
Mega Man 9 is the sequel to Mega Man 8, released 11 years ago. It turns the clock back, providing a visual and aural style comparable to that of the first NES games (with the option of sprite flicker) rather than continuing with the detailed design of the preceding games.
Players will have to run, jump, and shoot through several different robots to reach the stage’s boss, just as they did in the previous games. After Mega Man has defeated the boss, he will obtain the weapon they used for his use. It is no longer possible for Mega Man to slide, as he could do in Mega Man 3, and his charge shot ability in Mega Man 4 has also been deleted.
Challenges are a brand-new addition to the Mega Man series, which debuts with this installment. This is a list of challenges e player must complete to progress further into the game. Some are not too difficult, like beating a boss with the Mega Buster, while others are incredibly challenging, like completing the tournament five times in a single day. In addition, there is a mode called Time Attack in which players compete against the game’s internal clock.
