The latest installment in EA’s long-running college football franchise includes regular roster upgrades, new animations, and offensive and defensive plays for both teams. The game has the typical Dynasty Mode, Exhibition Mode, and Multiplayer Mode, and it also includes the opportunity to play football games with team mascots dressed in full uniforms. Additionally, it has minigames that may be used to coach quarterbacks, running backs, linebackers, and even kickers.
In addition, there are online capabilities for the game’s PS3 and Xbox 360 versions (the PS2 version does not enable online play), allowing players to share files and stats and compete against one another in demonstration games. In addition, users can participate in an online dynasty, in which they can compete against up to 11 other players simultaneously and choose from a pool of 60 seasons’ worth of available schedules.
