Need for Speed: ProStreet is the eleventh game in the Need for Speed series.

It incorporates fresh and more detailed graphics and a new sort of gameplay. The game lacks a Free Roam mode (like in Underground 2, Most Wanted, or Carbon), but it includes an Event Map comparable to Juiced’s Event Calendar.

The primary purpose of this game is for the player to become the “King of the Street.” Nothing new here. However, no more illegal races are possible in the game; all available races are sponsored, and the action takes place on several racing tracks. There will be no more traffic or in-town driving.

There are two gaming modes in the game. Career (in which you begin your “life” as a lowlife race driver and gradually vanquish everyone) and free play (in which you can race unlocked cars and unlocked tracks).

As is customary, the game contains a jukebox where you may listen to various tunes that EA has chosen to serve as the game’s Sound Track. The game includes new car models and classic racing modes, except cop chases, as ProStreet does not encourage illegal racing. As customary, you will be prompted to establish an alias (profile) when you launch the game. You can specify which one will be loaded when you restart the game. After creating the handle, you are requested to select your difficulty settings.

Except for the PlayStation 2 and Wii, all versions have online multiplayer modes.
