OutRun Online Arcade is a reworked version of OutRun 2006: Coast to Coast. The gameplay consists of driving a Ferrari of choosing through various zones, increasing the time the player enters each zone.
There are four modes to choose from:
- Outrun mode is the primary game mode in which you must complete five of fifteen zones to collect trophies and unlock additional races. Zones are chosen en way.
- Heart Attack mode requires the player to impress their girlfriend by accomplishing the chores she assigns. The better they do, the more hearts they receive and the higher their final rank.
- Time Attack mode: exactly as it sounds, race through each zone in record time. The faster the player completes this zone, the greater the time boost.
- Continuous Outrun mode: similar to Outrun mode, but with no opportunity to select the next zone and stricter time constraints. It is intended for advanced players.
