The player takes direct control of the players in PES 2012: Pro Evolution Soccer, a video game version of the popular soccer franchise. The player assumes command of a squad in various game settings and strives to win matches with that squad. This comprises a mode in which a single athlete is handled, a way in which the league which additional management responsibilities are conducted, and a method in which the player can practice. The club boss mode is new in this edition and has even more obligations.
The straight pass feature, first introduced in an earlier installment of the series, now has five settings so that new players may gradually become used to it. The primary enhancements have been made to artificial intelligence (AI) and controls, with the most notable change being the addition of the option to take manual control of a second player on the player’s team. The licensing package is virtually identical to its forerunner, except for including a few different groups.
