In the middle of what seems to be an ordinary day, Rayman and his pals are hanging out on a massive tree in the Glade of Dreams, their native environment. On the other hand, their persistent snoring wakes a Gelderland older woman realm of the Livid Dead in the depths below. She is so intent on putting an end to the noises that she dispatches an army of evil creatures across the land, and in the process, she manages to capture all of the Electoons and Nymphs that inhabit the globe. As Rayman and his companions are being held prisoner by the beasts, they are forced to break out of their confinement and make one last effort to restore order to the Glade of Dreams before it is too late.

The Rayman franchise has been given a fresh start with Rayman Origins, which also marks a return to the 2D platforming gameplay for which the brand is known. Its gameplay resembles a cross between Mario and the first Rayman game in style. Livingstones, Electoons, Betilla, and the Magician’s Hat are just some of the characters and foes from the game’s first iteration that appear in this sequel. In addition, some characters from Rayman 2 appear, including Globox, the Teensies, and Lums.

On the other hand, the ambiance of the game is not like that of the original game; instead, it has a very “wacky” vibe. In a manner quite similar to the original game, the primary purpose of each level is to save as many Electoons as is humanly possible. There are also Lums from Rayman 2, which serve as the game’s currency; nevertheless, each location is closely guarded by creatures from the Land of the Livid Dead and maybe of other foes. Additionally, a multiplayer mode supports up to four players and has an atmosphere that is remarkably similar to that of modern Mario games. You can play Rayman, Globox, and a pair of Teensies.
