In the video game Storm, players must work through a series of challenges to remove the seed from the tree it is attached to and plant it in fertile soil so that it will sprout.
Lightning, wind, and rain are the three forms of natural motion that can relocate the seed. Lightning momentarily propels the source into the air, allowing it to leap greater distances or reach higher land. The wind can direct the basis in a given direction, and the rain can enable the source to float to lower locations or raise the water surface of pools. Both of these methods are useful for spreading the seed. The seeds can also be propelled to much larger heights by using bubbles created from water, which can be used to make water.
The game is divided into four seasons, each introducing a new set of environmental challenges. Take, for instance, spring puzzles that contain bubbles, as opposed to winter puzzles that involve snow and ice.
The gameplay can be divided into three categories: Adventure, Free Mode, and Spirit. The standard campaign is referred to as Adventure mode, and it is broken up into four seasons. The levels in an accessible way are the same as those in the movement; however, inaccessible mode, players can choose which stories to play and compete against themselves to see who can complete the story in the shortest time. Spirit mode also has the same levels as the other modes, but in this mode, players gather spiritual entities that float throughout the story. These entities can be collected by letting the seed travel through the area where they are located.
