Swarm is a platformer in which the player assumes control of a horde of tiny blue organisms known as swarmites. The player needs to gather DNA to ensure their race’s survival using these swarmites. When the player is in charge of the swarmites, all fifty will be under their command simultaneously. Because each swarming possesses artificial intelligence, its interaction is significantly more fluid. For instance, when swarmites wander around an object, some may walk around the other side of the thing than the other half.
The title is characterized by its morbid sense of humor because there are numerous ways the swarmites might perish in the game, ranging from plummeting to their deaths to being burned alive. After a level, at least one swarming must still live to complete the objective correctly. There are checkpoints in the game, from which the player can continue once all of the swarmites have been eliminated.
A predetermined amount of points must be amassed before proceeding to subsequent levels. You can get these points by gathering as much DNA as you can. The majority of the time, it is necessary for there to be multiple swarmites still alive to collect this DNA. Therefore, it is in everyone’s best interest to preserve the lives of as many swarmites as possible.
