The Black Eyed Peas Experience is a Kinect dancing game that solely focuses on the songs of the popular band, The Black Eyed Peas. The player creates an avatar, which is then used to dance with the band. To succeed, the player must replicate the dance moves performed by the band, and a pictogram providing a graphical depiction of the right action is displayed on the screen. Although it is impossible to bomb a song, a single band member will occasionally present a challenge that, if completed successfully, will result in the acquisition of a customization item. The player’s actions are directly translated to the avatar, who, in turn, mirrors the player’s moves by facing the band members and the player themselves.

In addition to the regular dancing mode, in which the player can select one of the songs offered, Dancing Deluxe also includes a career mode, which essentially acts as a tutorial for the game. In this section, every song is separated into three sections that can be studied independently, and the player can activate a dancing coach, essentially a slow-motion mode. In addition, the player can build new choreographies by selecting moves from the provided list. When playing multiplayer games, two people can sing and dance simultaneously.
