The Cave

The Cave is a platform adventure game that follows the narrative of seven characters descending into an ancient cave to achieve their greatest dreams. These characters are the Adventurer, the Time Traveler, the Knight, the Twins, the Hillbilly, and the Scientist. The Monk is the final character in the game. The user can play the game solo or with up to two local co-op partners, choosing three of these seven flawed and compulsive treasure-seekers to help them overcome challenges, obstacles, and decisions with questionable ethical implications. The players control a cast of characters, each possessing extraordinary powers, such as teleportation, temporary invulnerability, telekinesis, and many more. Everyone is subjected to a new setting explicitly created to illuminate their underlying impulses and compel them to face their complicated histories.
