The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings – Enhanced Edition is the Xbox 360 version of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings that includes new content not included in the initial release. A Windows re-release with the identical material, however, is also available. Owners of prior versions of Windows can get the updated content for free.
The new content is as follows:
A fresh introduction to cinematic
A lengthy final act filled with new areas and tasks
An extended epilogue depicting the effects of the player’s choices.
All prior PC version updates and DLCs are also included. The following are the most notable additions:
A new tutorial, as well as two additional missions
The new “Dark” difficulty is essentially the same as “Insane” but with the ability to save. There is also a unique armor set to discover.
An arena mode that takes place outside the main game and pits Geralt against waves of enemies. There is a ranking list available online.
A selection of physical (retail releases) and digital (download releases) items is included: * Soundtrack * World map * Quest guidebook with gameplay hints.
